SPARK CAMPAIGN CO-CHAIR SUSANNA WHITAKER WATERS ‘99 AND FAMILY

Summer is sometimes imagined to be a sleepy time at schools. As a school leader, I can tell you that is not the case. Some of my most productive and impactful work happens in the summer, and I know Park approaches the summer with a similar mindset. Of course there is time for rest and relaxation… and professional development, summer programs, team retreats, curricular review, implementation of new systems, and construction projects. Speaking of construction…

Summer Hard Hat Tours

Join us in August for a sneak peek at the new spaces under construction this summer: the Lower Division STEAM Corridor, the Maker Wing, and the turf field. All tours will depart from the Main Entrance and conclude at Park’s new outdoor gathering space, The Shed, over refreshments. I hope to see you there!

Welcoming SPARK Campaign Co-chairs Jamie and Ashley Harmon

SPARK CAMPAIGN CO-CHAIRS JAMIE AND ASHLEY HARMON AND FAMILY

I join my fellow co-chairs in being so pleased to welcome Jamie and Ashley Harmon to the SPARK leadership team! Jamie and Ashley are current Park parents with children entering Grades 5 and 3 this fall. They were first drawn to SPARK by the plans for a new Lower Division STEAM Corridor and later inspired to engage as volunteers. Jamie and Ashley bring many years of successful fundraising experience to the leadership of the campaign. Check out the back inside cover of the Summer Bulletin to meet all the SPARK co-chairs.

Please enjoy this summer edition of Park SPARK and stay tuned for more information about events this September celebrating the completion of the summer 2022 construction projects. As always, we welcome your outreach at any time at campaign@parkschool.org.
